Troy M. Robinson is President & CEO of BankTexas.  In addition to managing the bank’s operations

  and maintaining a loan portfolio, he is actively involved in the continued economic development of

  East Texas.

  Mr. Robinson joined BankTexas in 1981 as Assistant Cashier.  He was engaged principally in the

  Operations department and Information/Technology from 1984 to 1989, when he served as the

  bank’s Cashier.  Mr. Robinson became a loan officer in 1989, serving first as Vice President and

  later as Senior Vice President.  During his tenure, he significantly increased the bank’s products and

  offerings in the real estate lending segment.  He assumed his current capacity as President & CEO

  in 1998.

  Mr. Robinson is Mayor Pro-Tem of the City of Quitman.  He serves or has served on the boards of

  numerous civic and trade organizations, including the Independent Bankers Association of Texas,

  the East Texas Development Corporation, East Texas Mental Health, Inc., the Quitman Public

  Library, and the Quitman Industrial Foundation.  In addition, Mr. Robinson is a member and past

  president of the Quitman Rotary Club.

  Mr. Robinson holds a BBA from Texas A&M University, where he concentrated in Finance.  He is also

  a graduate of the Southwestern Graduate School of Banking at Southern Methodist University.
