Ryan James is an Assistant Vice President of BankTexas based in Quitman.  In this capacity, he is responsible for originating consumer, commercial, and mortgage loans.  He joined BankTexas in 2008.

Prior to his present role, Mr. James served as a loan officer at Wood County National Bank, and before that, as a Financial Advisor at Edward Jones.  Previously he was a Loan Review analyst at BankTexas.  Mr. James began his banking career in 2003 as a Credit Analyst at TIB, an independent bankers’ bank headquartered in Dallas, TX. 

Mr. James graduated in 2003 with a BBA in Finance from the Mays Business School at Texas A&M University in College Station, TX.  He is a member of the First Baptist Church of Quitman and the Rotary Club of Mineola.
