Clifford Bartley and Melissa Danaher Join BankTexas in Lindale

December 26, 2008—Troy M. Robinson, President & CEO, announced today that Clifford Bartley and Melissa Danaher have joined BankTexas.  Mr. Bartley and Ms. Danaher, along with Vice President and senior lender Charlie Rand, will make up the bank's leadership team for Lindale.

Clifford Bartley, who will serve as Business Development Officer, is a veteran banker and community leader.  In 1985, he co-founded Lindale National Bank, which later became First Service Bank (and is now Capital One).  There, he was Executive Vice President in charge of the credit department.  Prior to that, he served as Vice President of Lindale State Bank.  Mr. Bartley has also led numerous Lindale community organizations, including the Rotary Club, the Athletic Booster Club, and the Chamber of Commerce.  For his efforts, he was named Citizen of the Year in 1992 and Rotarian of the Year in 1994. 

Melissa Danaher will serve as Team Leader of the Lindale Bank Store, overseeing six other associates.  Prior to joining BankTexas, Ms. Danaher was a mortgage lending assistant, loan servicing clerk, and teller at Southside Bank.  Before joining Southside in 2000, she worked for Bank One (now Chase).  Ms. Danaher attended Lindale High School and Tyler Junior College.  She is a member of the First United Methodist Church of Lindale.
