BankTexas receives “five-star” financial soundness
rating in independent study
A recent independent
review1 of Texas banks gave BankTexas
“five-stars” for financial soundness. The study,
performed by BauerFinancial and published in D
Magazine, graded all banks from one to five stars
based on financial data obtained from the FDIC.
Five-star banks are
described as “superior” based on their tangible
capital ratio, risk-based capital ratio,
nonperforming assets as a percentage of total
assets, among other metrics.
In addition to the
stability of BankTexas, customers’ deposits are
backed by the full faith and credit of the United
States government through the FDIC. The FDIC
insures all deposits up to $250,000 per depositor,
with greater coverage available for certain account
types and structures.
