Mike Fitzhugh
joined BankTexas in May 2011 as Senior Vice
President and City President for our
Longview and Kilgore markets. Mike comes
from Prosperity Bank where he served as
Regional President managing four banking
centers in Longview, Carthage, Winnsboro and
Mt. Vernon. Prior to joining Prosperity,
Mike served as City President for both
Austin Bank and Hibernia Bank in Longview,
Texas.
Mike has been
very active in community affairs having
served on the Longview Partnership Board of
Directors, the LeTourneau University
Business Development Board and numerous
other civic organizations. In addition to
his civic work, Mike has also served as an
Adjunct Professor of Business at LeTourneau
University.
Mike is a
graduate of Texas State University with a
Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in
Finance. He has also earned an M.B.A. from
Centenary College. Mike and his wife Linda
have resided and worked in Longview for over
20 years.
