Kay Newland is a Vice President of BankTexas; her duties involve overseeing the Data Processing

  Department and Information/Technology.

  Newland started her banking career at BankTexas in 1979.  Originally employed in the Accounting

  Department, she eventually became the Bookkeeping Supervisor.  She assumed her current position

  in 1993.

  Newland lives in the Alba community and is a Quitman High School graduate.  She delivers Meals-on

  Wheels as often as she can.
