Jim Wallace is a Senior Vice President of BankTexas
with responsibility for managing and originating
commercial and mortgage loans. Mr. Wallace is based
in Longview.
Prior to joining BankTexas in 2007, Mr. Wallace was
a Vice President and Commercial Loan Officer at
Regions Bank in Longview from 2003 to 2007. He was
responsible for managing a variety of commercial
loans as well as serving as a financial counselor to
business owners. Before that he served as
Chairman, President, and CEO of City National Bank
in Kilgore from 1990 to 2000. He has also served in
executive capacities at M Bank and Allied Bank, both
of Longview.
Since 2000, Mr. Wallace has been Chairman of Sertex
of Longview, Inc., a company that operates six fast
food restaurants in East Texas.
Mr. Wallace attended Texas Christian University,
where he received a B.S. in Commerce and majored in
Accounting. He is a graduate of the
Southwestern Graduate School of Banking at Southern
Methodist University as well as the Texas Realtors
Institute.
Mr. Wallace resides in Longview.
