Jacob Russo is a Vice President of BankTexas and has responsibility for commercial, mortgage, and consumer lending.  Mr. Russo is based in Tyler.

Before joining BankTexas in 2007, Mr. Russo was a Banking Center Manager at Guaranty Bank in Tyler from 2005 to 2007.  At Guaranty, his leadership was responsible for a 650% increase in commercial lending over previous years.  Prior to that he was at Southside Bank, where he served as a Banking Center Manager from 2001 to 2005.  In addition, Mr. Russo served as a Non Commissioned Officer in the United States Marine Corps from 1998 to 2004.

Mr. Russo is involved in the Tyler Junior College Small Business Development program and the Northeast Texas Association of Government Guaranteed Lenders.  Additionally, he is a member of several community organizations, including the Tyler Cattle Barons Gala, the City of Bullard Library Project, the Tyler Chamber of Commerce, Junior Achievement, and East Texas Fly Fishers.
