December 28, 2006—BankTexas unveiled today a major update to eBank.  In addition to cosmetic enrichments, the new version provides new security layers designed to protect customers from online identity theft.

Kay Newland, Vice President of Information/Technology, said, “At BankTexas, we strive to provide customers with innovative products and services that make managing money easier and more convenient.”

In addition to cosmetic enrichments, the updated eBank introduces new security layers designed to protect you from online identity theft.  These security enhancements -- which draw on the very latest technology -- will assist us at BankTexas in our continued efforts to think ahead of identity thieves.  Furthermore, they will allow you to rest even easier about banking online.
