BankTexas traces its roots to the 1890s,
when a man named William Lloyd started a
little bank on the courthouse square in
Quitman. He treated people like he’d known
them his whole life, eventually earning the
nickname “Uncle Bill.”
Our little bank has grown up since those
early days, but we continue to take great
pride in listening, caring and treating
people right.
