Brenda Cates is Executive Vice President of BankTexas.

  Ms. Cates was previously a Vice President, then Senior Vice President of BankTexas, serving as a

  loan officer at the bank’s Quitman office since 1998.  In her current capacity, Ms. Cates manages the

  bank’s Lending department and maintains a loan portfolio.

  Ms. Cates has 25 years of banking experience and is a 2005 graduate of the Southwestern Graduate

  School of Banking at Southern Methodist University, in Dallas, Texas.

  Since moving to Quitman from San Antonio in 1988, Ms. Cates has been actively involved in Quitman

  Christmas Sharing PLUS.  She is currently a member of the board of directors of the Quitman

  Chamber of Commerce.  She is also a 2003 graduate of the Leadership Class given by Leadership

  Lake Country, Inc.
