Ryan James is a Vice President and a lender for the Mineola market. In this capacity, he specializes in originating and managing commercial and consumer loans.

Prior to his present role, Ryan was a Financial Advisor for Edward Jones in Emory. Previously he was the Loan Review officer at BankTexas. Ryan began his banking career as a Credit Analyst at TIB, The Independent Bankers Bank headquartered in Dallas.

Ryan graduated with a B.B.A. in Finance from the Mays Business School at Texas A&M University in College Station. He is a third-generation Mineola High School graduate. Ryan has served in multiple civic clubs and organizations. Most recently he served as President of the Rotary Club of Mineola. He has also held positions on the Main Street Board of Mineola, as director of the Quitman Chamber of Commerce, Endowment Committee Member of the Mineola Civic Center, and assisted with the process of establishing Mineola as a Certified Retirement Community.

Ryan is proud to have called Mineola home his entire life and to be raising his family there today. In his spare time you can find him coaching little league at the ballpark and spending time with his wife, Leslie, and three sons, Reed, Tyler and Ross.
